About Monique Spevock

I am a professionally registered and accredited psychotherapist and counsellor with almost 20 years of experience in adult mental health.

My experience includes working in charitable, private, and NHS healthcare settings. My varied experience has permitted me to meet a diverse spectrum of clients with varied backgrounds and presenting concerns.

My training was completed in Central London. I hold a master’s degree in psychotherapy and counselling and an advanced diploma in integrative psychotherapy. Both of these qualifications were completed at the renowned School of Psychotherapy and Psychology at Regent’s University London. At Birkbeck College, University of London, I achieved my foundation in psychodynamic approaches to organisation dynamics.

As part of my continued professional development, I regularly attended courses and workshops. Additionally, I have finished specialised training in the following areas: holistic cancer care, parenting issues, Asperger’s/high-functioning autism, gender issues, abuse (domestic, childhood, emotional, and sexual), and art therapy. 

I follow the UKCP and BACP codes of ethics and practice.
