“Good supervision is as much about the well-being of the therapist as it is about the well-being of the client.”
– Robin Shohet
Supervision offers a space to pause, reflect, and think about the therapeutic work we hold with our clients, as well as the impact this work can have on us as practitioners. I offer online clinical supervision to therapists and counselling professionals looking for a supportive, collaborative, and thoughtful supervisory relationship.
My approach to supervision is relational, reflective, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgement. I aim to create a space where you can explore clinical material openly, think about ethical and professional questions, develop confidence in your practice, and attend to your own wellbeing alongside the work.
Alongside private practice, I have worked alongside medical and healthcare professionals for almost 20 years, including nearly 10 years within the NHS and cancer support services. This experience has given me extensive understanding of complex presentations, long-term emotional work, multidisciplinary settings, and the realities of working within healthcare environments.
I also have additional professional training in autism and ADHD understanding and have particular experience supporting neurodivergent clients. I welcome supervisees who would like to deepen their understanding and confidence in working in this area.
I offer online supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists, and trainee therapists working across private practice and organisational, healthcare, and community settings. Supervision can provide a reflective and supportive space alongside client work, whether you are newly qualified, in training, or more established in practice.
Areas explored in supervision may include clinical reflections and case discussion, therapeutic relationships and relational dynamics, ethical and professional dilemmas, boundaries and risk, and the emotional impact of the work, including countertransference. Supervision can also support the development of confidence, professional identity, practitioner wellbeing, and sustainability in practice. I also welcome therapists wishing to deepen their understanding of neurodivergence and complex presentations.
Supervision is offered on an individual basis at £85 per clinical hour. Concession sessions are offered at £65 per hour.
